AMPT is the only real skateboard shop in Humboldt County. Owners Jon Vitale and Paul Verner opened the shop in 2001 in response to the desperate need to centralize and nurture a skate scene. Without a doubt they are the only place locally to get the highest quality goods, lurk and watch the newest videos, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with heads that actually skate.
